Miscarriage, stillbirth and newborn death is a trauma experienced by so many, in such private and silent ways.
Thousands of tiny babies depart our lives all too soon and too suddenly, but never for a second will they leave our hearts. The 25th of this month is a day dedicated to our memories of these dear little ones and their families - “Say Their Name Day”.
This year, I’d like to raise funds in the memory and honour of a special baby girl, Laylah May. Her mother, my treasured friend, kept safe this sweet angel for fifteen weeks, and gives life to her memory every day and night through her unconditionally compassionate role as midwife. Keeping Laylah safe in their hearts alongside her beautiful mum, are her loving father, sister and brother.
