In memory of Isla & Sonny

When Linsey and Tegan fell pregnant at the same time it was like Van and Luca all over again, we were both so excited to go through pregnancy together again and have babies who would grow up together and be best friends just like our boys are. Our pregnancies were very different though, Tegan’s was smooth sailing and ‘normal’ whilst Linsey’s was wracked with stress and additional testing due to a CMV diagnosis. But unfortunately the outcome was the same - devastating. At 33 weeks Tegan went into hospital with reduced movement, she got the completely crushing news that her little girl no longer had a  heartbeat. She gave birth to her perfect baby girl, Isla on Thursday 26 May 2022 and her and Jez got to spend 24 hours cuddling and making memories with Isla. There is no reason that this happened. Its shocking and heartbreaking. Just two weeks later on Wednesday 15 June Linsey also lost her little boy to the virus he had been battling. Sonny was the spitting image of his big brother Van and the 24 hours that Andy and Linsey got to spend with him are some of the best and worst of their lives. The feeling of leaving your child at the hospital, not bringing them home with you where they belong is indescribable. As we try to get through this incredibly difficult time in our lives, we’d like to raise money for Red Nose who offer support to parents like us in this time as well as education and research to try and prevent stillbirth. We’d appreciate any donation you can make in honour of our little angels, Isla and Sonny. Thank you x
