Guess the Chonkers Weight

By Christine Young

Help me save little lives, support families and fund vital research.

Hey All,

A few of you have been following the growth of our bub, and with the history of Young babies he's expected to be a bit on the larger side.  So Calum and I thought we would make a bit of a game of this. We thought we could get you guys to guess the final weight of bub.

We will put up updates as to what our Obstetrician says and his recommendations and if you want to make numerous guesses go nuts.

We thought $2 per guess is probably reasonable (and is tax deductible if that rustles your jimmies) just put your name next to your donation and your guess. Guesses in pounds (lbs) if you please! We want this precise and as close as possible to two decimals.

Whoever is closest will even get a sneaky prize.

Just thought it was a good opportunity to do a bit for a charity that matters as I can't imagine going through this whole pregnancy only to lose a child.

To start at 20weeks we were estimated to roughly have a baby at 9.25lbs at 40weeks.

At 26 Weeks we were told he was already 2.64 pounds which keeps us on track.

Will he big, will he small, will he come early, will he come late?

Cheers

Christine and Calum

General Red Nose Spiel...

I’m holding a fundraiser for Red Nose so that they can continue their important work supporting Australian families. Each year in Australia, over 3,200 babies and children die suddenly and unexpectedly. That’s nine deaths every day. This is a cause that is close to my heart, and that is why I am raising funds to help Red Nose work towards a future where no child dies suddenly or unexpectedly. If you can support my fundraiser, you will be helping to bring care and comfort to families when they need it most. Your contributions mean Red Nose are one step closer to reaching their goal of zero sudden and unexpected deaths of babies and children. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting Aussie families, funding vital research, and saving little lives.  So please dig deep and together, we can make a difference for Red Nose and all the little lives they work so hard to honour.
