In memory of Stella Grace Cook

On the 18th May 2022 our daughter Stella was born still at 9:18am.  

It's hard to accept that not all stories have a happy ending, especially when the heartbreaking ending is your own. From the moment we found out we were pregnant with Stella we were overjoyed to be adding to our family, to give our daughter Zara a sibling and as parents we hoped to raise our baby, to watch them grown from newborns, to toddlers, to children, to adults. 

No parent prepares for the heartbreaking ending of their child dying. Grief is everlasting and everyday that has passed and will continue to pass since the loss of Stella we still feel and will continue to feel a deep longing to be with her everyday. Everyday the pain we feel to see her, hold her, kiss her and watch her grow is immeasurable. 

Our love for Stella will never end. Love never dies, and because of this our grief will be the same. 

In  honour of Stella and all families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss we hope to raise some money during the month of October to support families with grief and loss support.
