In memory of Mason Evren Sanli

By Cesur & Amy Sanli

On the 24th September 2021 at 11:56pm our second son, Mason Evren Sanli, was stillborn at 27 weeks. He weighed 830g and had lots of dark hair like his big brother. As it approaches a year since his birth we would will be making a donation in his honour to Red Nose - an organisation that provided us with so much support in the darkest period of our lives.

Unfortunately we are not alone in losing our baby.  Every year 100,000 Australian families experience a miscarriage, almost 3,000 have a stillbirth and a further 700 babies die within the first 28 days of birth. Red nose provides 24/7 grief and loss support  to grief-stricken parents who have experienced the trauma of losing a baby. They also support research into prevention of sudden infant death and stillbirth.

Today is Red Nose Day 2022. If you would like to make a small donation to Red Nose, it will support an essential service, that is unfortunately needed now more than ever. It is a service we hope nobody ever needs - but it is invaluable to those unfortunate families who do.

Not a day goes by that Mason isn't in our thoughts.
We love & miss you forever xo Mummy, Baba, & Mavi xo
