Help me save little lives, support families and fund vital research.
I’m doing something active for Red Nose so that they can continue their important work supporting Australian families.
Each year in Australia, over 3,200 babies and children die suddenly and unexpectedly.
Born on January 20, 2021, Harry entered the world, blessing anyone who had the honour of being in his presence, with the bluest of eyes and the brightest of futures. Sarah and I (Jess) considered ourselves the absolute luckiest people in the world, who created the most perfect little boy. We just couldn't believe our eyes.
Harry grew up healthy and strong and was always considered a big boy, mainly because he loved food so much. He also grew a fascination for trucks, cars and buses and would let you know when one drove past - no shock that his favourite movie was Cars.
Tragically, in July last year, Harry passed unexpectedly in his sleep when he was 17 months old to SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Children). Our lives and those around us who had the privilege of knowing our beautiful boy have been completely shattered.
As parents, we want to make sure the legacy of his kindness is not forgotten. We were just so proud to be his parents and we hope that he is proud of us for trying to raise awareness in his honour.
We hope in our efforts we can raise much-needed funds for the research of SUDC so this doesn't continue to devastate families as it has our own. It will also go to supporting families during this time of such enormous grief.
We ask you to contribute what you can to this cause. All donations will go to Red Nose Limited, as they support further research and the families affected by SUDC.
Please meet at Pirate Life Brewing on Saturday 25 March 2023 for a charity walk at 10:30am to honour Harry. We will be staying at the end of the walk for a bite to eat and a drink and sharing stories of our boy.
